| "AUSTIN HEALEY" (ear tag 8936) | |||
LF Austin Healey 8936 Sire: Mytty in Focus Dam: LF Triumph 5936 MGS: BR Midland |
Birthdate: 12/29/07 |
||
Excellent calving-ease breeding from both sire and grandsire. Although moderate in frame, Mytty in Focus calves grow well and are at the top of the breed for yearling weight. As an aside, Austin's mom comes from one of our favorite cows. Weaning weight: 670lbs.

| "BEAUJOLAIS" (ear tag 8473) | |||
LF Beaujolais 8473 Sire: S/S Objective T519 0T26 Dam: LF Tuscany of Elba 1473 MGS: CA Future Direction |
Birthdate: 1/9/08 |
||
Objective has proven to be an extremely successful outcross bull with high calving-ease and yearling growth EPD's. Our experience with Objective calves is that they are born quick and easy and really hit the ground running. Mother's side goes back to the 323 bull, so frame size is kept in check. Weaning weight: 722lbs.

| "BOXER" (ear tag 8136) | |||
LF Boxer 8136 Sire: Mytty in Focus Dam: LF Onyx 6136 MGS: Conneally Freightliner |
Birthdate: 1/17/08 |
||
Another Mytty boy, combining the calving ease and growth of Mytty with the "beefiness" of Freightliner. Boxer inherits calving ease from both sires as well as excellent yearling growth. Weaning weight 656lbs.
| |||
| "CAESAR" (ear tag 81A6) | |||
LF Casear 81A6 Sire: Mytty in Focus Dam: LF Gift of the Magi 51A6 MGS: Twin Valley Precision E161 |
Birthdate: 1/12/08 |
||
Caesar had a rough start, so his weaning weight was lower than the other bulls, but he has more than made up for it now. Caesar's pedigree reads as a "who's who" of Angus bulls, with Mytty, E161, 036, and EXT in his pedigree. You couldn't ask for a better sire for your calf crop. Weaning weight 555 lbs.
| |||
| "CARLO" (ear tag 8465) | |||
LF Carlo 8465 Sire: S/S Objective T510 0T26 Dam: Dam: LF Sophia of Elba 1465 MGS: GAR Integrity |
Birthdate: 1/5/08 |
||
We've been using calving ease bulls for several years now, recognizing that our customers don't want to be out in the rain working on difficult calves. Carlo would be a great heifer bull, with calving ease through three generations and moderate frame size. As you can see by his weaning weight, his mom did a great job! Weaning weight 750 lbs.

| "GIMLI" (ear tag 8262) | |||
LF Gimli 8262 Sire: Mytty in Focus Dam: LF Pippin 2626 MGS: GAR Integrity |
Birthdate: 1/10/08 |
||
Gimli's family tree includes the outcross bull Rockn' D Ambush and the time-tested Traveller 234D bulls. Mytty supplies growth and Integrity a moderate frame. Calving ease is on both sides of his pedigree. Weaning weight: 690 lbs

| "JEREMIAH" (ear tag 8061)
| |||
LF Jeremiah 8061 Sire: GAR Predestined Dam: Harmony Hill Katinka 3061 MGS: SVF GDAR 216 Ltd |
Birthdate: 1/10/08 |
||
Jeremiah is the premier bull of our 2008 calf crop. Predestined calves are amazing in growth and thickness without compromising on calving ease. His mother is a daughter of the famous Harmony Hill Katinka 306. Weaning weight: 795 lbs.

| "RIVER" (ear tag 8053) | |||
LF River 8053 Sire: Rito 2V1 of 2536 1407 (AMC) Dam: LF Christine 5053 MGS: LF Northern Design 2883 |
Birthdate: 1/27/08 |
||
River has tested free of the AM gene mutation, and we are very pleased to include him in this year's sales ring. He's a fabulous looking bull with calving ease genetics from his sire as well as his dam's side. His pedigree includes B/R New Design 323, Traveller 8180, and N Bar Emulation EXT. It doesn't get much better than that! Weaning weight 728 lbs. | |||
| "THE GENERAL" (ear tag 8006) | |||
LF The General 8006 Sire: BC Matrix 4132 Dam: BFF Dixie Erica 4006 MGS: BR Midland |
Birthdate: 3/7/08 |
||
Matrix is the most famous son of the OCC Emblazon bull, combining excellent calving ease with fabulous yearling growth. His mother came from the Brookefield herd and has been a super cow here, with easy fertility and moderate frame size. Her 2009 A.I. heifer was born a full month earlier than The General! And despite his March birthdate, The General more than caught up with a weaning weight of 755 lbs.
